Five years since I saw you, spoke to you, touched you, laughed with you. Five lonely, heartbreaking years trying so hard to carve out a life without you. Five years of constantly relying on memories we made together to keep your essence in my heart. Five years dedicated to trying to raise awareness and funding for research and care for those living with or affected by MND, the terminal, vile illness that claimed your body and took you away from me. I’ll never stop, I’ll always share who you were, what you were and what a difference you made in so many peoples lives.
