From lovely Emma at Blue Skies!

I left the office to attend Dave’s funeral with half an hour extra in case of traffic or me getting lost (I’m not the best with directions) and my sat nav directed me to a church about 20 miles away from Kettering, so I was delayed in trying to re-program my sat nav and get on the right road and to the funeral in time, which I was now cutting it fine with the traffic and getting lost and I was at the traffic lights right by the crematorium when I took the wrong slip road which took me down the dual carriageway, so I went around the large roundabout and I didn’t see that the traffic light was on red, so I went right through it, right in front of a police car! They put their flashing lights on and pulled me over and asked me to sit in the back of the police car, whilst they checked all my licence and registration and insurance details and then told me off for going through the red light and I told him that I was now late for a funeral and he said that I would have to wait until he filled in this long form and then he cautioned me (I thought he was arresting me), so I was in floods of tears and shaking and finally went back to my car and drove very carefully to the crematorium and slipped in the back and saw the second half of the service. I hope that Dave was looking down and seeing the funny side! I am still waiting to see whether I have to go for a court date, have a fine or points on my licence or a driving course following the incident.
