Five years since I saw you, spoke to you, touched you, laughed with you.
Five lonely, heartbreaking years trying so hard to carve out a life without you.
Five years of constantly relying on memories we made together to keep your essence in my heart.
Five years dedicated to trying to raise awareness and funding for research and care for those living with or affected by MND, the terminal, vile illness that claimed your body and took you away from me.
I’ll never stop, I’ll always share who you were, what you were and what a difference you made in so many peoples lives. My special, funny, rare man, beloved by all who were fortunate enough to have known you.

Oh darling four years. Many friends have joined you and Neil aka Mr Neil last Saturday. It’s never going to get any easier, the realization always hits me in the pit of the stomach that you’re never coming back. POW
